Nutrition – Is it as difficult as everyone makes out?
What do diets like the Cambridge, Juice, Meal replacement shakes all have in common?
They are all pretty brutal to follow, very difficult to adhere to long term and once you stop? You batter all your lost weight back on plus a bit more as an added bonus!
Wow, that sounds awful! But why do so many people follow them?
Sadly, because as humans we always want the easy option. We don’t want to have to actually work for what we want to achieve, if there’s a proposed shortcut we’re happy to jump on it.
Also, due to huge marketing budgets from a lot of these diet companies it’s always in the public eye.
Surely these celebrities wouldn’t lie to me about these amazing diet pills or shakes they are advertising?
Unfortunately, money talks and bullshit walks.
Is nutrition difficult? Is it impossible to find a way to enjoy food but keep the weight from adding up?
In all honesty? No.
Does it take willpower? Yes. But what doesn’t?
Are you willing to put in the hard yards? Are you willing to start monitoring your nutrition? Do you really want to make a change?
