    Fitness Charlatans.

    David “Avocado” Wolfe.

Ok, first up chuckle at the self given middle name. If you were going to give yourself a middle name it wouldn’t be after something that resembles a shrivelled testicle.

Ok, now the chuckles have died down, let’s take a look at this charlatan.

The dictionary definition of a charlatan is:

“A person practising quackery or some similar confidence trick in order to obtain money, fame or other advantages via some form of pretense or deception.”

So what is he doing wrong?

Similar to the Wellness coaches who supply Herbalife, Body by Vi, Juice Plus and every other brand of low quality pish, Mr Wolfe preys on the needy.

Let’s take a look at some of his absolutely absurd views:

“Chocolate lines up planetarily with the sun. Chocolate is an octave of sun energy. In fact it’s the energy of the centre of the sun.”

Stop there. Have you ever heard such utter bullshit and guff in your life? If you have I’d like to hear about it.

At what point does this a) become workable for normal (earth dwelling, not space cadet) people? And b) actually make any goddam sense to anyone other than those on LSD?

In days gone by Mr Wolfe would have been burned at the stake for witchcraft.

In a time where we need to educate people we still seem to pin up those who make no sense but are good at marketing themselves.

Muppets from reality TV peddling slimming pills, shakes and potions, fitness DVDs or 1000kcal diets, the list is endless.

Rather than baffle people with fitness Scientology or uneducated, unmaintainable bullshit why not educate people to live a lifestyle that can be adhered to long term.

Neil Hill, founder of Earth Strength had this to say about David Wolfe:

“Wolfe is one of many new age hucksters exchanging hope, health and salvation in return for the Yankee dollar.

He is not harmless though, this is where Unicorns meet Herbalife. Where people pop pills and ingest powders sold to them as antidotes for 21st century life. They’re spiritual statins backed up with Mosley lite science.

These astral cowboys need to be called out and publicly shamed.”

Neil is banned from Mr Wolfe’s page for calling him out. As per usual, charlatans either ignore or use their gang of followers to abuse anyone who questions their leader.

Don’t get sucked into fads or be seduced by charlatans. Ask for advice from people in the right place who are there to help and educate, not baffle, confuse and take your money.
