The word “Failure” has many connotations.
1 – A lack of success.
2 – An unsuccessful person, enterprise or thing.
Actually failure is a term which is used negatively far too often when in fact there are many positives which come from a failure.
Failure educates us. It teaches us what we need to do and how to go about it.
Failure should drive and inspire us to be better, do more and to never, ever give up.
It teaches us our flaws, but also shows us how to fix them.
There are hundreds of quotes from people regarding quotes, including the picture with this blog. My favourite however, is this:
“Success is not built on success. It’s built on failure. It’s built on frustration. Sometimes it’s built on catastrophe.” – Sumner Redstone
A personal trainer or coach is there to help you sift through the rubble of failure before helping rebuild the foundations and starting you on the path to success.
We are coming into the time of year where New Years resolutions are set and fail within a matter of weeks. Weight loss, muscle building or general health, whatever your goal, get some advice on where to start and how to avoid the pitfalls that normally catch you out.
Set out a plan, take advice, know what you want to achieve. But most of all, don’t be afraid of failure.
